LOS ANGELES — Community activist, Cultural Inclusion Foundation affiliated leader, Angel City Salute (ACS) CEO and media director of the Social Good Movement Tour Dr. Marie Y. Lemelle, 65, has come under fire for damning findings detailing her unethical misconduct.

The public relations guru is embroiled in a wave of controversy after news broke last week of her being named in a new ethics report following a year-long investigation unveiling her double life.

Lemelle is said to have misrepresented herself under oath. She is also accused of allegedly intimidating a former client and being scrutinized for a newly uncovered long history of legal disputes in Los Angeles County.

According to court documents, Lemelle seemingly falsely claimed to be a domestic violence victim in an attempt to mislead the judge.

“Lemelle misrepresented herself under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the information was true and correct. She identified herself as the victim in order to gain an unfair advantage,” a domestic violence legal advocate said.

“She bullied the domestic violence victim by trying to silence her,” the source added.

Lemelle, a self-professed social justice activist, has also come under fire for wrongly disclosing the address of the crime victim. In doing so, Lemelle put the victim’s safety in jeopardy, advocates said.

And in 2023, Lemelle allegedly partnered with Eldrid Ephraim Bryant, 46, of Carson, to intimidate the person, advocates stated.

Bryant, the Chief Executive Officer of Prekcise Services LLC, a suspended company according to the California Secretary of State, apparently acted under Lemelle’s direction to execute the disregard of ethical standards.

It is believed based on Bryant’s sworn deposition that he was instructed by Lemelle to serve legal papers to an individual at the Pasadena courthouse. Bryant, a non-professional process server, served the crime victim immediately prior to a civil case proceeding being brought against the Pitbull PR Agency Inc. executive in Lemelle’s presence according to advocates.

A civil rights leader focused on the protection of women from domestic violence commented that Lemelle “purposefully orchestrated the threatening conduct of intimidation on the domestic violence victim to humiliate, insult, and injure the dignity and self-respect of the person.”

The alleged contrived collaboration between Bryant and Lemelle is being deemed as “intentionally spearheaded to intimidate the individual, who was revictimized,” according to the civil rights leader.

A veteran industry insider said Wednesday, “the public court records that I read reveal vicious personal attacks and appear that Ms. Lemelle seems to be exaggerating or fabricating an event to portray herself as the victim in the situation. I don’t want to believe it because I know Marie, but the judge saw through it,” the insider stated.

At press time, a query with the Los Angeles Superior Court named Marie Lemelle a.k.a. Marie Yvonne Lemelle in at least 17 court cases. The court types range from negligent breach of contract and civil harassment to fraud.

Cases involving Lemelle have been heard at Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Pasadena Courthouse, and Glendale Courthouse, all in Los Angeles County.

Lemelle, an entertainment industry veteran, sits at the helm of Pitbull PR Agency, Inc., Platinum Star Public Relations, Inc., and Platinum Star Media Group, Inc. She has been linked to Christina Havis and Footnanny, Oprah Winfrey’s pedicurist.
